Job Description:
Our retained client is a manufacturer of specialty capital
equipment that's sold through indirect sales channels. They are
seeking a dynamic Director of Sales to maintain their global market
share and expand service offerings.Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the overall sales strategy within a niche
industry marketplace.
- Establish and build relationships with any new and existing
partners.
- Conduct a competitive analysis of the market and guide any
changes.
- Build business through direct equipment and aftermarket
offerings.
- Solidify relationships with existing OEM partners and other
sales channels.
- Work with internal and external customers to provide
best-in-class products and service.Required Skills and
Experience:
- 10+ years of sales experience in capital equipment or
industrial markets (preferably in the electro-mechanical
space).
- Ability to work with internal and external customers to provide
excellent customer service.
- Experience selling through indirect sales channels and
distribution network.
- Very high level of technical aptitude.
- 4-year degree required (technical or engineering degree
preferred).
- Background in solution, value-add sales.
- Ability to travel upwards of 40% (International travel
required).
- Basic computer knowledge (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).About
