world. We are seeking a Product Technician to join our
manufacturing team in Owatonna, MN. As a Product Technician you
would be responsible for performing routine materials
inspection/handling, routine machine operations, assembly, basic
quality control, and packing/shipping prep under limited
supervision in a manner, which meets or exceeds the established
quality and quantity standards for the area. Primary duties and
responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Reviews work
assignments, paperwork, and other documentation/directions to
facilitate the best of time and activity for the shift. Performs
manufacturing processes assigned according to established policies,
procedures, and standards of the area Checks completed work for
conformance with specifications, noting and forwarding Defective
Material Report (DMR) data for decision and action by others
Established quality and quantity standards are consistently met or
exceeded, resulting in minimal downtime and/or rework Confers with
Manager or department Lead to share information, observations, and
recommendations for improvements in processes which might increase
overall results within established quality standards Helps maintain
the assigned area in a clean, orderly condition to minimize safety
hazards and lost-time accidents Contributes to a cooperative work
effort through performance of assigned duties in an accurate and
timely manner Demonstrates knowledge of manufacturing processes,
minimizes uncertainty, and facilitates organization of materials
and tools to meet established quality and quantity standards
Provides general guidance and assistance for trainees in a manner
which contributes to their development and overall results being
achieved Highly qualified candidates will have: 3-6 months
manufacturing experience Experience training others Experience
understanding engineering drawings Experience performing mechanical
assembly Experience performing electrical assembly Experience
