Job Description:
A company is looking for a General Counsel to provide legal
advice and ensure regulatory compliance while managing legal
risks.
Key Responsibilities
Advise the board on corporate governance and maintain corporate
records
Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including customer
and vendor agreements
Ensure compliance with data privacy laws and manage the company's
intellectual property portfolio
Required Qualifications
Juris Doctor degree from a reputable law school
Minimum 10 years of experience in data privacy, technology, or
corporate law
Strong understanding of privacy laws, particularly GDPR, CCPA, and
HIPAA
Experience in a fast-paced startup environment is preferred
