Job Description:

Adecco is currently assisting a local client in the Minneapolis, MN area with their search for a CAD Drafter to assist in the design and development of products, machinery or tooling to enable Greenheck products/parts to be manufactured and assembled to meet requirements for cost efficiency, product quality and customer service.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Create drawings for new products, changes to existing products and special design requests using computer aided design technology under direction of design team.

Assist in preparing bill-of materials on new and changed designs and special design requests under direction of design team

Maintains drawing files (CAD, PDF and other documentation)

May provide support to sales and marketing staff through the creation of submittal drawings or technical assistance on simple inquires under the direction of the design team / supervisor

Under the direction of a Designer of higher position, prepared information for needed documentation (Drawings for operation manuals, maintenance files, purchase part info records, etc.) related to a design project

May participate in value engineering projects to continually improve the cost efficiency of the design and manufacturing processes in the form of drawing changes and IAN completion (BOM work) as direct by design team

Qualifications:

Work requires extensive technical or specialized training such as that which would be acquired in the first two or three years of college or technical school

Two or four year degree REQUIRED

Minimum of 1-3 years of work experience is REQUIRED

Computer experience using Iventor, AutoCad, and 3D software REQUIRED

Schedule: Hours 8am - 5pm with possible overtime
