Accounting ManagerThe Accounting Manager will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of Cameron Coffee's financial statements by supporting the Controller in the month end closing process - with an emphasis on the management of the trade accounting process.

RESPONSIBILITIESThe Accounting Manager will be responsible for:

• Management of the Trade Accounting Process, including:
  • Track and maintain a comprehensive database of all commercial agreements.
  • Compare customer deductions and invoices against customer agreements to determine their validity.
    • Approve customer deductions.
    • Processing of Trade invoices through SAP
    • Management of denied deductions. If necessary, escalate to the Sales Operations Manager.
    • Track and analyze trade spend, monitoring over/underspend by customer. Recommend changes to trade rates. Adjust accruals as necessary.
    • Prepare and submit accruals and other journal entries
    • Monitor processes, both internal and external to the department, to ensure they are executed in an accurate and timely manner.
    • Assist Controller with month end close activities
    • Assist Controller with internal and external audits
    • Other duties, as assigned
      EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
      • Bachelor's Degree in accounting
      • Minimum of 5 years of Accounting experience required
      • Minimum of 3 years of Trade Accounting experience required
      • Familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar programs, software applications, and mobile devices
      • Proficiency with SAP Software desired
      • IFRS knowledge desired
      • Bilingual (Spanish) desiredSKILLS NEEDED

            • REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: This role will report to the Controller.LOCATION: This position will be based out of our Shakopee, MN office with the opportunity to work from home 2-3 days per week.
